The educational program 6B02303 "Foreign Philology" allows to comprehensively combine fundamental training in the field of linguistics and literary criticism, with in-depth training in several foreign languages. This program is distinguished by its depth and diversity; it prepares future graduates for a wide variety of professional activities in a rapidly changing modern world. In the process of learning, you will master two foreign languages (English, German, French, Chinese), get acquainted with the literature and culture of the countries of the studied languages, and also, if you wish, you can learn a third foreign language (Italian). The program also includes the study of methods of teaching foreign language and literature, stylistics, the foundations of the theory of the language being studied, the foundations of interpersonal and intercultural communication and culture, analysis and interpretation of texts of various genres, linguistic and cultural studies, theory and practice of interpretation and translation, etc. The program prepares bachelors for philological activity in various applied fields, for pedagogical, research and translation (oral, written, consecutive translation, and translation of various types of texts) of a wide range of activities and for work in the field of intercultural communication. Modern theoretical and applied philology, which is the scientific basis for the training of professional editors, publishers, translators, a high methodological level and practical experience of teachers will make it possible for future specialists to form general cultural, linguistic and professional competencies for future work.
